Quarantine and curfew in Ecuador and Galapagos Islands.

Two of the preventive measure that Ecuador carefully took for preventing the spread coronavirus outbreak had have quarantine and overnight curfew from the afternoon and all night in the most populated cities.

 

90% of local citizens have complied with the household quarantine to prevent the Covid-19 from spreading to more principal cities in the country. Only the personal staff who work in established hospitals, pharmacies, supermarkets, civil police and personnel related to these specific activities are authorized to attend their jobs or assists to the community. 

Quito and Guayaquil the most populated cities closured their international airports to avoid more positive cases. These airports will carefully open their continual operations on April 4, 2020. At the moment, the local airports will merely be enabled for exceptional cases or humanitarian aid.

These necessary measures merely prevent national hospitals from collapsing in the personal attention to possible cases of new COVID-19.
